Rescue team documents (TDPs & posters) from RoboCup 2026 — will they be published?

Hi everyone,

The 2026 rules make three commitments about team documentation being shared with the community after the event:

  • §1.4.1 (Team Posters, General Rules): “Posters will be hung in public competition areas in the venue and digital copies or photographs will be shared by RoboCupJunior after the competition.”
  • §1.4.3 (Sharing Team Resources, General Rules): “Materials submitted by teams as part of the documentation submission will be shared on GitHub repositories for the leagues: RoboCupJunior by RoboCup Federation · GitHub”
  • §2.6 (Sharing, Rescue Simulation rules): “The spirit of world RoboCup competitions is that teams should share technological and curricular developments with other participants after the tournament.”

For Soccer this is happening: the robocup-junior GitHub organization has rcj-soccer-tdp-2025, rcj-soccer-tdp-2026 and rcj-eu-soccer-tdp-2026. For Rescue, however, I could not find any published team documents (TDPs or posters) — not for RoboCup 2026 in Incheon, and as far as I can tell not for any previous year either.

This has come up before: in Publication of team documents (Nov 2023) the committee said it was collating the documents that had consent to be shared, and in Sharing previous year’s documents (Jun 2024): “The documents have not been uploaded yet, but we still plan to upload them to the community website this summer (https://rescue.rcj.cloud/).”

So, my questions to the Rescue Committee:

  1. Will the TDPs and posters of the RoboCup 2026 Rescue teams (Line, Maze and Simulation) be published? Where, and roughly when?
  2. If consent collection is the bottleneck, could consent be collected at submission time going forward (e.g. an explicit checkbox), so publication becomes the default path the rules already describe?
  3. Is there anything the community can do to help?

I mentor teams in Argentina preparing for Rescue Simulation, and the documents of the teams that did well are among the best learning resources this community could offer — exactly the “spirit of sharing” the rules describe. It would be great to see Rescue catch up with what Soccer is already doing.

I strongly support this request.

As a mentor working with teams in RoboCupJunior Rescue, I think publishing TDPs and team posters would be very useful, especially for newer teams and mentors. Looking at the documentation of experienced teams can help others understand different technical approaches, learn from previous solutions, and avoid having to start from scratch every year.

Since the 2026 rules already mention sharing team resources, I think having a clear and consistent process for publishing these documents would make a lot of sense.
