Dear Technical Committee,

I have a question regarding the criteria for successful identification. Can we illuminate an LED continuously for 5 seconds instead of having it blink?

Thank you for reaching us.
According to the rule 4.6.1:

To successfully identify a victim, the robot must stop within 15 cm of a victim and blink an indicator visible to the referee for the full 5 seconds while stationary.

You need to “blink” the indicator to earn points.
