As the 2023 Rescue Maze rules state, that the minimum size of a rescue kit has to be 1cm in each dimension, I wonder, whether a cube with the edge length of 0.71cm would be sufficient, as when standing on one of the tips the rescue kit would indeed have a size of >1cm in each dimension.

Sorry to get to you so late. We already came across similar questions. In the current iteration of the rules (2023) this would be allowed. However, note that we plan to change this rule a bit to prevent this. Stay tuned for when we announce 2024 draft rules in a couple of weeks for more details.
