Hello, my team has been researching different approaches for navigation and mapping in the RoboCup Rescue Simulation, and we came across the possibility of using ROS along with SLAM. We would like to know if this solution is allowed within the competition rules and if it is technically feasible in this environment. Could you provide any guidance on this?

a) Probably we use the server-client model or the Docker model to run the teams robots. In both you can use ROS with SLAM, because both are server-client model, the first in different PC, and Docker in the same.
b) Please, read carefully the item 4.1 of the rules, to know if your use of ROS with SLAM are allowed.
