Rescue Simulation : 4.6.13 Formula for Robot Score

Hello
I read “RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation Rules 2023”. (RCJRescueSimulation2023RulesFinal.pdf)
so I have a question.

4.6.13. Robot Scoring will be automated through the platform scoring engine.

I calculated the score for Area 4 in this example.
AM4 : 2
VI4 : 5 x 1 + 10 x 1 + 15 x 1 + 30 x 1 → 60
VT4 : 10 x 2 + 20 x 2 → 60
CN4 : 10 x 1 → 10
VMI4 : 5 x 1 → 5
LOP4 : 5 x 2 → 10
Area4 Score = (VI4 + V|T4 + CN4) x AM4 - VMI4 - LOP4 = (60 + 60 + 10) x 2 -5 -10 → 245

The result of the calculation is a score of 245 for Area 4.
However, the rule table lists it as 230.
These two numbers are different.
Which one is correct?

MASA

To Masa, you are correct. The table diagram is indeed off. The formula is correct. I will post an updated table here in the forum for future reference. Thank you for spotting it.

FYI … this will replace the one in the current doc.

Final update should be released sometime in early May.

Hello @elizabeth.mabrey

Thank you reply
I understand how the score is calculated.

What is “sum-VI & VT” written in the upper right of the table you presented?
This is the subtotal of VMI and LOP, right?
So “sum-VMI & LOP” ?

Regards,
MASA

thank you for spotting the typo… Sum-VMI & LOP (as shown in the sub-total for VMI,LOP cell).

Hello @elizabeth.mabrey

Thank yopu reply

The following numbers are written on the line of rm1.
VI(5) : 2 , VI(15) : 0 —> Victim Identification is 2
VT(10) : 3 —> Victim Type Identification is 3
I think it is impossible that “the number of Victim Identification is 2” and “the number of Victim Type Identification is 3”.
