Rescue Kit Question

In the rules, the only requirement for rescue kits which I can find is:

Each rescue kit must have a minimum size of 1 cm in each dimension.

Would a wireframe design be allowed? i.e., Hollowing out a cube and removing the centre of each face so that only the edges (which will be 1cm in each dimension) remain.

My team has also developed a way to compress the rescue kits so that while they are stored, they have a size of less that 1cm in each dimension, however when they are dispensed from the robot, the size will expand to 1cm in each dimension. Is this allowed?

Hello @Robosapien,

I like how creative is the solution proposed by your team in how to handle the rescue kits!

Yes, this is allowed. As long as when they are deployed, a referee can measure them and be 1cm per dimension, you’re fine.
