In section 3.2.1, the rules state: “Only two team members will be allowed access to the competition fields, unless otherwise directed by a referee.” I was wondering if a third person is allowed during calibration time and then the other two start the robot. By third person I meant a separate individual and not three people.

I would say no, it is not allowed during calibration time.
Can you motivate why you would like a separate person there?
