In between section 3.5.4 and 3.5.5, the text states: that when the robot touches the checkpoint you receive points. My question is: do you receive points by touching the tile in which the checkpoint is or will we have to touch a specific spot on the tile with the robot?

I can’t see anything about touching or touch the tile?
You will earn the score for the passed tiles when the robot is within the tile where you placed your checkpoint marker. You don’t have to touch any specific point of the tile.
