Lightweight Stater Pack for Beginners

Dear all,
About 20 students at my school (grade 7-10) would like to start working on the RCJ Soccer Lightweight. We did the standard league (LEGO-only robots) this year. I saw that most people use the ‘roundabout’ robots for lightweight.

I was wondering if there is a guide or starter pack for beginners to point us in the right direction just so that we can get started. Any advice and support will be much appreciated.

We have been very successful using the TJ3B kit from Japan. Easy to get started, but also easy to modify and expand, using C based block programming (C-Style). Available from daisendenshi.com in Japanese or from robomov.net in English.
