Image upload problem

At least for me the upload of pictures is not working yet. I get the message Sorry, there was an error uploading that file. Please try again. Apart from that I think pictures to illustrate something should never be added externally (like Google or any other hosting service), always by adding them directly to the forum because they get lost if the link doesn't work anymore. Is it possible to somehow detect this or at least give a strong hint in the yellow box appearing next to the new topic t…

I mentioned that I have problems uploading images to posts. I still have the same problem and error notification.
Also, I still think that it would be good if the forum downloads images from external sources so that they don’t get lost if the external source goes offline (even though I don’t know if it is legal to copy and re-upload from another site). Alternatively a hint to preferably upload images to the forum (if that works) would be good.

Would be great if the Admin can look into it.
