Hi, my team and I were wondering if, for example, a smartphone could be used as a “brain” in our robot.
Of course, we’re talking about to develop our own program since zero to interpret the images of the camera and communicate, within the legal communication ways mentioned in the General Rules, the instructions to the actuators.
We are planning also use Arduino in the project.

Please refer to the rule 3.2.1: Any robot kit or building blocks, either available on the market or built from raw hardware, may be used as long as the design and construction of the robot are primarily and substantially the students’ original work.
Developing from scratch on a brand new platform is definitely challenging, but it sounds really interesting. Looking forward to what you guys come up with.
