Daisy Chain for EV3

Would daisy-chaining a robot be considered as having two robots? Due to the limited ports on a LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 brain, is it allowed to use two or more EV3 brain on one robot to have access to multiple ports?

As many participants use multiple arduino boards (or an arduino and a raspberry pi), I’m almost sure, you are allowed to use multiple EV3’s on your robot.

Hi @robindoo ,

yes it’s allowed , i have seen many people use Daisy-Chaining in EV3 last year .
they doesn’t consider it as 2 Robots , it’s one robot .

If you will use them with wired communication, it will be allowed.
