Are teams allowed to wipe down the arena (to clean dust) before runs if requested?

When I participated in Maze (a loooong time ago) I always wiped and cleaned the arena before the start of the scoring run.
It is allowed. But during the 8 minutes (because of the schedule).

I also see no rule that forbids to clean the arena before the start of the scoring run, therefore I agree with Fredrik. Just one short advice from me: tell the local referee about what you are up to do, so that they will not get confused by you starting to clean the arena
