Access to NXT bricks buttons on the playing field

Hello.

While on the playing field would it be fine to use a screwdriver to access the buttons on the NXT brick. I have to use a screwdriver to access it as a Lego piece above the stop button makes it quite hard to access.

Your question is that your finger does not reach the button, is it?
There is no problem if you use a screwdriver to push the button each time you start or restart.
Let the judge know to use the screwdriver to push the button when succoring Run.
