Is it permissible to make non-significant modifications to the robot that will carry out the route on the day of the competition?

just to be sure, I mean like change the estructure of the sensors (line followers) …its it will not affect us at the time of our presentation / interview?

If the difference is significant, you may be asked during the interview, and you should be able to answer why that change has been made. But the change it self should be fine.
