I’m Domenico Ardito from Italy. I live in Catania, the town of the volcano Etna. I first got involved in RoboCupJunior in 2009 in my country, where I organized the Italian selection 2011 , and since then I belong to the staff of the Italian Regional Representative: http://www.robocupjunior.it/

In the year 2016 I have been involved as TC member for CoSpace, and in the Organizing Committee RCJ CoSpace for Nagoya 2017. In the year 2018 i have been in the jury for this category at the European Robocup Championship: http://www.robocupjunior.eu/organization/
I’m an Electrical Engineer, past teacher of Electronics at “Archimede” Technical School in Catania. I started robotic experience in 1984, belonging to the Research Group for Computer and Systems Engineering, soon after my degree. After experiences at STMicroelectronics and at Ministry of Communications, I started teaching in 1992. As a teacher, I designed robots with my students since 2000, making also part of the Eurobot 2006 OC , together with Catania University. In addition to designing robots, also involved in the dissemination of educational robotics for students of junior high schools.
