Final Soccer rules and rubrics for 2019 are online!

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to announce that the final version (meaning we do not intend to change it anymore) of both the rules and the rubrics of RoboCupJunior Soccer for 2019 has been released at

There are two more significant changes (since we published the draft) I would like to highlight:

  1. All sections/paragraphs in the rules are numbered, so we can easily refer to them when discussing their interpretation.
  2. Given the discussion in Soccer rules for 2019 released the TC discussed the matter internally and came to the conclusion that requiring robots to be turned off when taken off the field would indeed be a big change, which was not the intention of the 2019 rules. Instead, the final version of the rules says in paragraph 1.11.6

Whenever a robot is removed from play, its motors must be turned off.
